Soulful climate leadership is not for the faint of heart.
This work calls on each of us to bring our greatest love, courage, resilience, and creativity so that we can work towards a bold vision for a beautiful possible future, while also looking directly into the devastating destruction of our precious planet, the rage-inducing injustices against humanity that come with it, and our sometimes overwhelming fears for an unknown future…
For me, it’s the greatest privilege of my life to be a climate leader, and it constantly calls me to learn how to ride the ebb and flow of some BIG internal waves…
Grief and gratitude.
Fierce love and fiery rage.
Active hope and deep despair.
Inspiring visions and heartbreaking realities…
Riding the waves of climate leadership is both a free public workshop and an invitation to join this next cohort of the Feminine Climate Leadership Coaching Group!
Here’s what you can expect:
During the first 45 minutes, there will be a workshop and group conversation exploring two essential tools for riding the waves of climate leadership:
- Connecting with the love and inspiring visions within us: Learn how your gratitude, love for the world, and boldest visions can be a renewable resource, fueling you on your leadership journey.
- Honoring our pain for the world: Learn why honoring our rage, despair, fear, and numbness is an essential skill for avoiding burnout, and how to do it in ways that are sustainable, empowering, and keep us in action.
In the remaining 15 minutes, there will be an invitation and Q&A session for those interested in learning more about the next cohort of the Feminine Climate Leadership Coaching Group, which starts on July 17.
The Feminine Climate Leadership Coaching Group is a space designed for us to learn together how to more skillfully ride these internal waves while keeping our balance— so that we can feel the depths of our love and despair while also doing the good (hard) work we’re called to do and enjoy our precious lives while we do it.
